‘Winning is the only answer’ Bang Shin-sil, co-leader on the first day of the E1 Charity Open

Bang Shin-sil, who needed a ‘winner’, had a refreshing start with a joint lead on the first day of the Korea Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour E1 Charity Open (total prize money of 900 million won).

In the first round of the tournament held at Seongmunan Country Club (par 72) in Wonju-si, Gangwon-do on the 26th, Bang Sin-sil recorded 5 birdies and 1 bogey.

Bang Shin-sil, who recorded a 4 under par 68, was tied for the lead with Kim Min-seon 7 and Ji Han-sol.

Bang Shin-sil, who is spending the season as a ‘conditional seeder’, participated in four KLPGA tour tournaments and reached the top 10 twice.

However, for Bang Sin-sil, who failed to obtain a full seed by finishing in 40th place in the KLPGA Tour seeding match held in November of last year, results other than winning do not mean much.

It is expected that Bang Shin-sil, who has a low seed ranking, can handle about 30% of the competition this season. Therefore, it is not possible to secure the right to participate in the regular tour with the prize money ranking because the number of competitions cannot be fulfilled.

The only answer is to win. If Bang Shin-sil maintains the top spot until the last day of this tournament, she will immediately qualify for a full seed on the KLPGA Tour and will be able to continue the tour stably until 2025. 메이저사이트

After playing on the LPGA tour with “veteran” Kim Hae-rim, Yoo So-yeon, who started out on the domestic stage, tied with Lee Se-hee and Park Ji-young for 4th place (3 under par 69 strokes).

Last year’s winner Jeong Yoon-ji finished 1-over-par 73, tied for 48th place, and Park Min-ji, who is aiming for the money prize for the third year in a row, 3-over-par 75 shots, tied for 90th place, is in danger of missing the cut.
