Tottenham are looking to sign Wilfred Zaha (30), the nucleus of Crystal Palace attack.
England’s ‘Football Insider’ quoted sources on the 13th (local time) and reported that ‘Tottenham have jumped into the race to sign Zaha, whose contract with Crystal Palace expires at the end of this season’.
Zaha has rejected an offer from Crystal Palace to extend his contract. He can leave the team without a transfer fee at the end of the season.
Tottenham made two offers to sign Zaha while coach Mauricio Pochettino, but the signing failed due to disagreements over the transfer fee. He is a proven winger. He has scored 6 goals and 2 assists in 13 appearances in the English Premier League (EPL) this season. 스포츠토토
In the 2013-2014 season, he built a nest at Manchester United. His transfer fee was 15 million pounds (approximately 24 billion won). However, he was not a good fit for Manchester United. He only made 2 appearances in the EPL.
He returned to Crystal Palace in the 2014-2015 season and blossomed again. Last season, Jaha scored 14 goals in 33 matches in the EPL, scoring double digits for two consecutive seasons.
Arsenal are also interested. Supervisor Mikel Arteta has already praised Jaha, saying, “Jaha is a great player. His influence in the Premier League over the past few years has been phenomenal.”
If Zaha, a former member of the Côte d’Ivoire national team, moves to Tottenham, Son Heung-min’s competition for the starting lineup is expected to intensify.
