Kim Yong-hyun, who defeated Kim Yong-hyun and won the championship.. KMAGF Green Tour 2nd round ‘same name’ topic

Kim Yong-hyun from Daegu defeated Kim Yong-hyun of the same name from Gyeonggi-do and won the Korea Mid-Amateur Golf Federation (KMAGF) ‘2023 Bridgestone Golf Green Tour Round 2’. 

The second round of the Green Tour, hosted and supervised by KMAGF and sponsored by Bridgestone Golf, was held on the 2nd at Hwasun CC in Hwasun, Jeollanam-do. 

On this day, Kim Yong-hyun (Daegu) recorded 2 over par 74 (38-36), tying with Kim Yong-hyun (Gyeonggi, 37-37).

However, according to the rules of the tournament where rankings are determined by the countback method, Kim Yong-hyun from Daegu became the owner of the championship cup. 

Winner Kim Yong-hyun said, “I didn’t think he would be ranked first by hitting 74 strokes, but he’s happy to win the championship. It was fun to follow the golf rules and participate in the tournament with the mindset of a player.” ㅋㅋㅋ벳

Lee Eun-chu recorded a 3-over-par 75 and came in third. In the gold senior division, where those aged 60 or older compete, Song Deuk-jong took first place with a 1-over-par 73 strokes. 

The KMAGF Green Tour runs from the 1st game to the 10th game. The 2nd, 3rd, and 6th games will be held with the gold senior team, and the 4th, 8th, and 9th games will be held together with the women’s division. The winners are given the right to participate in various competitions organized by the federation.
